Good Vs Evil â€Å"Magic, Mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?† the Snow White Queen questions the magic mirror in the classic fairytale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (The Grimm Brothers). The Queen wants the mirror to proclaim that she is the fairest of them all; but instead the mirror hails Snow White. Then, the Queen transforms into a witch in order to be the fairest of them all, similar to the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde transformation. Dr. Jekyll transforms to Mr. Hyde in order to change identities. Both stories, share the idea of dualism or the idea of being two different people and both characters, the Queen and Dr. Jekyll, have one side presenting good acts, and other side presenting evil acts. These stories are also similar because they both written in they are Victorian period, and share similar qualities of life. By analyzing both stories, one can conclude that the character of Dr. Jekyll in The Strange Incident of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was insp ired by the Queen character in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Before analyzing the characters of these classics, here is a summary of the fairytale, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
